Case study video production · London

Case study video production
in London for PR agencies
and brand comms teams.

Films that tell the story of a campaign, documentary or controlled, made for the agency to put out under its own name. I'm Oliver, and I run Small Batch: Video Production. You brief me, and I plan it and look after the shoot, usually from behind the camera, with the edit there if you want it.

What a case study shoot looks like

Shot to be
the agency's film.

A campaign case study tells the story of the work, and it usually goes out under the agency's name, so it's shot to feel like yours rather than mine.

  • A main film, or the rushes

A full-length film for the case study, with shorter cuts for social if you need them. Or well-organised rushes, if you're cutting it yourself.

  • Real people, handled with care

People in case studies are usually telling their own story, not performing it. Time, calm and a small crew do more than any amount of direction.

  • Discreet with your client

White-label or Small Batch-credited on the published case study, your call. The relationship with your client stays your relationship.

An example

Making dolls' houses
read as
real rooms.

IKEA dolls' houses, dressed to show the temporary accommodation 151,630 children in England are living in. I shot them on a probe lens for Weber Shandwick's case study film, so the rooms read full size. The campaign went on to pick up two golds at the PRmoment Awards North, two Purpose Awards EMEA wins and a Cannes Lions shortlist, all of them Weber's and its clients'.

How the brief runs

Planned to be
your film.

Tell me the campaign and the deadline, and I'll plan it to be your film, with the edit there if you want it, or the rushes if you're cutting it yourself.

Every time we think we have a problem, they will have a solution. They make our lives a lot easier.
