Often all an event needs is one camera on a gimbal: quick to set up and quiet in the room. For a bigger stage, I'll add cameras and crew to match. I'm Oliver, and I run Small Batch: Video Production. I film most of these myself, and you deal with me from the first call to delivery. Small jobs are welcome.

What an event shoot looks like

A launch or an activation is built around the people in the room, not the camera. The film should feel like the event, so the crew stays small and moves quietly, and the kit is chosen to keep up.

  • One camera, or more

    One camera on a gimbal covers most launches and activations. For a stage and a big audience, a locked-off wide, a roaming camera and a detail camera.

  • Clean audio

    Straight from the PA where there is one, with a boom or radio mics for interviews on the fly. The story holds whether you watch with sound or not.

  • Social edits

    Vertical cuts built from the event footage, with subtitles where they matter. I've worked to plenty of tight deadlines, so tell me yours and I'll find a way to make it work.

  • Stills from the same day

    I can shoot them myself, or bring a photographer.

A pop-up bakery in Soho for Galaxy, through Weber Shandwick, opened by Kim-Joy. I shot the stills and the video on my own, had edited selects with Weber by 06:49 the next morning for their press push, and cut the social film too.
